STRATA ABOGADOS / LEGAL REGULARIZATION

Legal regularization of property in El Salvador.

Start by identifying the documentary or registry issue and the legal steps that may apply.

Scope and fees are defined in a specific proposal. Submitting an enquiry does not start professional work.

Case background

Review the available documents and outstanding matters.

A legal roadmap

Distinguish the available review from steps requiring additional work.

A staged scope

Confirm records, procedures and fees before work begins.

A CLEAR SCOPE

Understand the work your case may need.

A discrepancy between records, a pending registration or a right requiring documentation can prevent you from dealing with a property. We review the background to identify which legal steps may apply and what information is missing before proposing further work.

01

Understand the file

We start with the deed, supplied registry and cadastral information, ownership and the history of the issue. Additional documents may be needed to distinguish a documentary inconsistency from a matter requiring other steps.

Document review does not certify measurements, boundaries or physical conditions. If plans, measurements or technical studies are missing, that need is identified; they are not included as a STRATA Abogados service.

02

Define the legal steps

Depending on the file, the work may involve preparing documents, correcting records, formalizing an easement, documenting a release or assessing a notarial or registry procedure. The applicability of each step is confirmed after review.

If the property is connected to a deceased person or several heirs, the inheritance context must be reviewed first. Selecting an issue in the form does not by itself determine which procedure applies.

03

Scope and requirements to confirm

The proposal sets out stages, required documents, included procedures and fees. Certificates, registry fees and other external expenses are separate from legal work.

The outcome depends on the records, third-party rights and the competent authority’s requirements. Registration, a favorable outcome or institutional processing time is not guaranteed. Litigation is outside this scope.
