A CLEAR SCOPE

Understand the work your case may need.

A property agreement requires identifying the parties, checking their authority and choosing the appropriate instrument. STRATA Abogados reviews the documents and terms to prepare the deed or contract expressly included in the engagement.

01

The instrument for your matter

We can prepare or review property purchase deeds, preliminary sale agreements, leases and related powers of attorney. If the matter involves a mortgage or easement, we define the instrument’s scope and the parties who must participate.

Work begins with the available records and the terms you wish to document. Identity, representation, ownership and the necessary background are reviewed for the specific case.

02

Preparation, signing and filing

The proposal specifies whether drafting, review of terms, amendments and signing coordination are included. For a registrable instrument, it states whether filing is included and which registry follow-up applies.

Taxes, registry fees, certificates and third-party expenses are identified separately. A registry objection or discrepancy requiring further work calls for a review of scope.

03

If you are outside El Salvador

We can review the records remotely and determine how representation should be documented, where applicable. Before signing a power of attorney abroad, confirm its wording and applicable requirements.

Preparing a deed does not automatically include handling an inheritance matter, correcting records, releasing security or addressing a dispute. Those needs are assessed and agreed separately.
